Need a safety knife that doubles as a cutter? The new SECUBASE 383 is versatile and equipped for both tasks. Featuring automatic blade retraction, it minimizes cutting injuries. For tasks like saw cuts that require a fixed blade, the SECUBASE 383 offers seven lockable positions for optimal efficiency.

Features

LONG BLADE EXTENSION

“Long” is an understatement: this blade stretches up to a remarkable 7.8 cm. With its serrated styropor blade, the SECUBASE 383 excels at cutting through up to 4-ply cardboard, expanding foam, foam, and polystyrene sheets with precision and ease.

LOCKING & RETRACTION

The SECUBASE 383 offers seven adjustable cutting depths ranging from 7 mm to 73 mm, making it versatile for various cutting tasks. Once you’re finished, simply release the lock, and the blade will automatically retract for safe storage.

ERGONOMIC HANDLE

The SECUBASE 383 offers an exceptional ergonomic design to safeguard your hand. Its gently tapered handle ensures a comfortable grip, while the slider features a built-in ramp for effortless movement.

FOR RIGHT & LEFT HANDER

The SECUBASE 383 is designed for immediate use by right-handers. For left-handers, simply rotate the blade 180° to begin cutting. The slider and lock are easily operated with the thumb.

EASY BLADE CHANGE

To access the long, flexible blade, simply press the blue blade change button at the handle’s end. This will allow you to slide out the inner section and the slider. The blade is securely held in place by two magnets.
