SLAM® Star – Portable Ex-Flood Light

The SLAM® Star is certified as portable Ex-device and is safe to move around without having to disconnect the power supply. The ultra bright LED lights produce over 5,400 tested lumens (light at source over 7400 lumens) yet generate very little heat. The surface temperature throughout the unit remains very low during operation eliminating any risk of burns. The floodlight can be moved around without having to disconnect the power supply. The light module features a 25˚ step-less adjustment to help you aim the light in the direction you need.

With a full-plastic construction there is no risk of sparks. All materials are anti-static and a clever double-shell construction makes it even safer. The input sockets feature a new design that enables quick and easy repairs if a cable or socket gets damaged. SLAM® STAR also delivers high availability. Each LED unit is controlled by an independent, isolated electronics. If one fails, the other two stay lit. This solution further improves on the already very low maintenance of the SLAM® STAR, despite harsh operating conditions. SLAM® Star is available with accessory magnets so it can be mount to steel walls and structures. Magnets are fully antistatic and there is no need for separate bonding wires!
